The Business Makers Network is part of the broader Fight Laugh Feast Network, which focuses on creating content and communities centered around Christian’s engaging the public square through church, business, and their individual efforts. God has built us to enjoy Him and engage culture through a faith integrated in all aspects of life, including business. Here is what you can expect by joining the Business Makers Network:
1. Integration of Faith and Business.
The FLF Business Makers Network aims to bring together Christian business professionals, entrepreneurs, and leaders who desire to make Christ Lord in the work place. We are not here to be politically correct, but to make Christ Lord. This mean business practices, decisions, and strategies are approached with Christian ethics (Christ first), virtues, and principles at the forefront.
2. Community and Networking.
Like many business networks, it offers a platform for networking, where members can connect, share insights, and collaborate on business ventures. This community aspect is crucial for fostering growth, innovation, and support within a like-minded group.
3. Educational and Development Opportunities.
There may be workshops, seminars, or courses (as hinted by FLF EDU) designed specifically for business leaders. These could cover topics from financial management from a Christian perspective, ethical business practices, leadership development, to how faith can influence business decisions and corporate culture.
4. Cultural Engagement.
Given FLF’s broader mission, the Business Makers Network may also focus on how businesses can engage with or influence culture positively, aligning commercial activities with cultural reformation or renewal based on Christ’s teachings.
5. Events and Conferences.
Organized events, including the pre-conference Corporate Partner dinner at the Fight Laugh Feast Conference, where business growth, strategy, personal development, provide unique settings that promote fellowship and camaraderie.
6. Content Creation and Sharing.
There’s an emphasis on content, whether through podcasts, videos, or written articles, aimed at business professionals. This content likely covers success stories, business tips, spiritual guidance, and how to navigate challenges in business with faith.
7. Philosophical and Theological Underpinning.
The network seems to operate under the belief that business isn’t just about profit but about stewardship, dominion, and glorifying God through one’s work. The “All of life for all of Christ” stance guides everything from daily operations to long-term business strategies.
8. Support System.
For Christian entrepreneurs and business leaders, the network serves as a support system for those who face judgment or misunderstanding in the secular business environments.
